5. InstaHHe=fingwith pHiers_squeezing from top of e=fing
to bottom of axHe.
CAUTION
AIwa>,s wear eye protection when installing/removing e-rings.
6. Repeat step 4 and 5 to secure second wheel
7. Tip generator so that engine side is down.
8. Line up hones in support Hegwith hones in generator
frame.
9. Attach support Hegusing two short (N8 x H6ram) cap
screws and two locking hex nuts.Tighten with a H/2"
or H3ram socket and wrench.
H0. Return generator to norman operating position (resting
on wheeHs and support leg).
BEFORE STARTING TNE
ENGINE
Add Engine Oil
o PHace generator on a HeveH surface.
Add Fuel
NOTE: This gasoHine engine is certified to operate on
gasoHine.Exhaust Emission ControH System:EP1(Engine
Hodifications).
WHEN ADDING FUEL
Turn generator OFF and let it cool at least 2 minutes before
removing fuel cap. Loosen cap slowly to relieve pressure in
tank,
Fill fuel tank outdoors.
DO NOT overfill tank.Allow space for fuel expansion.
Keep fuel away from sparks, open flames, pilot fights, heat, and
other ignition sources_
DO NOT light a cigarette or smoke.
H. Use cHean, fresh, reguHar UNLEADED fuel with a
minimum of 85 octane. DO NOT use fuel which
contains MethanoH. DO NOT mix oiHwith fuel.
2. CHean area around fuel firthcap, remove cap.
3. SHowilyadd regular unHeaded fueH to fueHtank. Be carefuH
not to overfiHH.AHHowabout H.5" (4 cm) of tank space
for fuel expansion (Figure 2).

. Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this
instruction will void warrantT_
o Refer to engine operator's manuaH and follow oiH
recommendations and instructions.
NOTE: Check oiHoften during engine break-in. Refer to
engine operator's manuaH for recommendations.
NOTE: The generator assembH7 rotates on a preHubricated
and seaHed bah bearing that requires no additionaH
Hubrication for the life of the bearing.
4. InstaHHfueH cap and wipe up any spiHHedfueH.
