Why does the rate of discharge slow considerably on my Troy-Bilt CS4265?
    • J
      Jennifer AlexanderJul 31, 2025
If the rate of discharge slows considerably, or the composition of discharged material changes on your Troy-Bilt Chipper, it could be due to low engine RPM. Make sure to always run the engine at full throttle. Another potential cause is a dull chipper blade. Consider replacing the chipper blade or consulting your authorized service dealer.

What to do if my Troy-Bilt Chipper unit does not discharge?
    • B
      Benjamin BrownAug 13, 2025
If your Troy-Bilt Chipper isn't discharging, there are a few potential causes. First, the discharge area might be clogged. To resolve this, immediately stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and then clean the flail screen and the inside of the discharge opening. Another possibility is that a foreign object is lodged in the impeller. Again, stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object. Finally, low engine RPM could be the culprit. Ensure you always run the engine at full throttle.
