3.4.2.1 Location of a terminal in the wall (horizontal)
There should be a minimal gap of 0,5 m between the terminal and:
Corners of a building
Roof overhang, gutter
Balconies or similar extensions unless the flue construction reaches at least the front of the
balcony or similar extensions.
3.4.3 Positioning the terminal to prevent disruption to the environment
This section mentioned distances. These are aiming values! For the exact minimum distances always
consult national and local regulations.
Distance = min distance to avoid nuisance between the terminal and:
A. A vent serving a lounge, toilet or bathroom
B. A combustion air supply, when the combustion air through an occupied space.
C. A movable window that is adjacent to an occupied room, toilet or bathroom.
Terminal on the roof (vertical):
Distance: terminal A, B of C

(*) if it cannot be met, the required distance prevails positioning the outlet.
(**) if it cannot be met, the terminal must be at least 1m above the highest wall / roof hatch.
