If the belts are slipping, the pump is malfunctioning, the pump oil is contaminated, or the pump isn't sufficiently lubricated, consult the Installing section and the Maintenance chapter, specifically the V-Belt Drive and Changing the Oil sections. If the pump is too cold, consult the General section within the Operation chapter. Also, foreign particles in pump can cause stalling, so disassemble pump and clean.
