The Smart Keybox is a secure container for keys, accessible via various methods including fingerprint, keypad (password), keycard, and a mobile application (Tuya Smart APP). It supports both wall-mounted installation and hanging with a cylindrical lock. The device is designed to integrate with the Tuya Smart ecosystem, offering remote management and monitoring capabilities.
1. Multiple Access Methods: * Keypad: Users can enter a numeric password on the integrated keypad. The keypad features numbers 0-9, an asterisk (*), and a hash (#) key. * Fingerprint: A dedicated fingerprint sensor allows for biometric authentication. The Tuya Smart APP guides the user through the process of capturing and enrolling fingerprints, requiring multiple placements for accurate registration. * Keycard: The device supports access via smart keycards (Epoxy Cards). These cards can be registered and managed through the Tuya Smart APP. * Tuya Smart APP: The Tuya Smart APP provides comprehensive control. After pairing the keybox via Bluetooth, users can unlock the device, manage users, generate temporary passwords, and view unlock records.
2. Tuya Smart APP Integration: * Registration: Users must register an account with the Tuya Smart APP using an email or mobile number. * Intelligent Configuration: The APP guides users through the process of adding the Smart Keybox as a Bluetooth lock under the "Security&Sensors" category. This involves choosing "Lock (Bluetooth)," activating the keypad, and finding the device. * User Management: The APP allows administrators to add and manage users for fingerprint, password, and keycard access. * Password Management: * Add User Password: Users can create 6- to 10-digit passwords with custom names. * Dynamic/Temporary Passwords: The APP can generate one-time dynamic passwords valid for 5 minutes, as well as periodic and time-limited passwords. It also provides clearing codes to remove passwords. * Duress Password: An option to set a duress password that triggers an alert if used to unlock the door. * Card Management: Allows registration and management of keycards. * Smart Linkage and Settings: The APP supports smart linkages (e.g., triggering actions when family members arrive or when the door lock alarms). It also allows configuration of settings such as multiple authentication methods, verification method (single unlock), automatic lock switch, auto-lock delay time, device language, key tone, lock navigation, volume, and motor rotation direction. * Unlock Records: The APP maintains a log of all unlock events.
3. Installation Flexibility: * Wall-Mounted: The keybox can be fixed to a wall. The process involves drilling three holes, inserting plastic expansion plugs, and securing the keybox with screws. * Hung with Cylindrical Lock: The shackle is removable. Users can press an internal button to detach the shackle, insert it into the hole on the box, and then fasten it with a cylindrical lock.
1. Battery Management: * The device is powered by 4x AAA batteries, located in a battery box behind a cover. * The Tuya Smart APP displays the battery level (e.g., "Battery Level: 100%").
2. Factory Reset: * A reset button is available inside the battery compartment. * To reset, long-press the button for 2 seconds. The device will prompt for an initialization password. * Entering "000#" completes the reset, restoring the factory state password to "123456".
3. Physical Access and Battery Replacement: * To access the battery box, a screw needs to be removed with a screwdriver, and the battery box cover can then be opened.
4. Warranty and Service: * The product comes with a 1-year Limited Electronic Warranty and a Limited Lifetime Mechanical and Finish Warranty against defects under normal residential use.
