OPERATING ISSUE RECOMMENDATIONS
If the sealer is not sealing after being plugged in the
first time.
The timer knob may be set too low.
1. Check setting on timer knob at end of sealer.
2. With the unit plugged in, turn timer clockwise to
raise setting and test.
3. Continue to adjust setting and test until desired seal
is achieved.
For models with cutter: If the cutter is not cutting smoothly.
The blade may still have the protective wax coating on it.
1. Remove cutter (see photo).
2. Completely remove wax coating (you do not have
to pull blade from bracket).
3. Return cutter through slot near knob. The arrow on
the bracket has to point away from slot.
For models with cutter: If cutter is cutting the teflon tape.
1. Loosen hinge pin screws that connect sealing arm
and sealer base (see photo).
2. Gently push sealer arm to the right to realign
cutter.
3. Tighten hinge pin screws and test to ensure it lines
up with "cutting well".
