The conformity assessment procedure for SARA-G3, SARA-U201 and SARA-U270 modules (except SARA-G340 
ATEX,  SARA-G350  ATEX,  SARA-U201  ATEX  and  SARA-U270  ATEX  modules),  referred  to  in  Article  17  and 
detailed in Annex II of Directive 2014/53/EU, has been followed. 
Thus, the following marking is included in the product: 
 
The  conformity  assessment  procedure  for  SARA-G340  ATEX,  SARA-G350  ATEX,  SARA-U201  ATEX  and 
SARA-U270 ATEX modules, referred to in Article 17 and detailed in Annex II of Directive 2014/53/EU, has been 
followed. According to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU; Article 13, Paragraph 1-3, the CE mark is not affixed to 
the product label.  
The following marking is included in the product:

There are no restrictions for the commercialization of the SARA-G3 series, SARA-U201 modules and SARA-U270 
modules in all the countries of the European Union. 
 
  Radiofrequency  radiation  exposure  Information:  this  equipment  complies  with  radiation 
exposure limits prescribed for an uncontrolled environment for fixed and mobile use conditions. 
This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between 
the radiator and the body of the user or nearby persons. This transmitter must not be collocated 
or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter except as authorized in the 
certification of the product. 
  The gain  of the  system antenna(s) used for SARA-G3 modules (i.e.  the combined  transmission 
line, connector, cable losses and radiating element gain) must not exceed 3.9 dBi (900 MHz, i.e. 
GSM  900  band)  and  4.1 dBi  (1800  MHz,  i.e.  GSM  1800  band)  for  mobile  and  fixed  or  mobile 
operating configurations. 
  The gain of the system antenna(s) used for SARA-U201 modules (i.e. the combined transmission 
line, connector, cable losses and radiating element gain) must not exceed 2.96 dBi (900 MHz, i.e. 
GSM 900 or UMTS FDD-8 band), 7.85 dBi (1800 MHz, i.e. GSM 1800 band), 11.84 dBi (2100 MHz, 
i.e. UMTS FDD-1 band) for mobile and fixed or mobile operating configurations. 
  The gain of the system antenna(s) used for SARA-U270 modules (i.e. the combined transmission 
line, connector, cable losses and radiating element gain) must not exceed 3.05 dBi (900 MHz, i.e. 
GSM 900 or UMTS FDD-8 band), 8.52 dBi (1800 MHz, i.e. GSM 1800 band), 13.52 dBi (2100 MHz, 
i.e. UMTS FDD-1 band) for mobile and fixed or mobile operating configurations.
