key
interupts
tape
movement
in
either
record
or
playback
mode
until
the
START
key

Pressing
only
this
key
switches
the
machine
to
playback
mode
and
commences
tape
transport.
To
start
tape
movement
for
recording
purposes,
the
RECORD
key

must
also
be
activat-
ed

Pressing
the
STOP
key

stops
tape
transprt
and
switches
the
machine
out
of
playback

key

pressed,

fast
rewind

key
lights
up.

recorder

to
the

START

this
key

fast
forwarde
key)
is
activated,
the
monitor-cueing
circuitry
will
also
go
into
operation.
The
fast
rewind
mode
switches
off
when
the
STOP
key
or
one
of
the
other
function
keys
is
pressed

the

tape
is
reached
