Overview
To use your Uniden Solo+ cameras with Google Home, you need to have the following devices and apps
set up: Uniden Solo+ camera; a Chromecast device, or a TV with Chromecast, or a media player with
Chromecast or a Google Home Hub. You will also need the Google Home and Google Assistance app on
your mobile device.
If the current camera rmware is not compatible with Google Home, please contact us at securitysupport@
uniden.com.au for more information.
Make sure you’ve connected the Chromecast to the TV via HDMI cable.
Linking Uniden Solo+ to Google Home
Step 1. Launch the Uniden Solo App and log in your cloud account, and then you will nd the Smart Home
option. If you can’t nd the Smart Home option, please contact securitysupport@uniden.com.au for more
information.

Linking Uniden Solo+ Cameras to Google Home

Step 1: Launch Uniden Solo App and Log In

Launch the Uniden Solo App, log in to your cloud account, and locate the Smart Home option.

Step 2: Enable Device in Smart Home Page

Enable the desired device from the Smart Home Devices list within the Uniden Solo App.

Step 3: Launch Google Home and Create Home

Open the Google Home app, sign in, and proceed to create a new home.

Step 4: Name Your Home and Connect

Assign a nickname to your home and click 'Next' to build the connection with Chromecast.

Step 5: Verify Chromecast Connection Code

Check the code displayed on your TV and click 'Yes' to confirm the Chromecast connection.

Step 6: Connect Wi-Fi and Assign Room

Connect to your Wi-Fi network and assign a room name for the Chromecast.

Step 7: Navigate to Home Control Settings

Access Account page, then Settings, Assistant, and finally Home Control.

Step 8: Add Uniden Solo Camera to Google Home

Search for Uniden Solo and assign the camera to a room within Google Home.

Step 9: Confirmation of Successful Addition

Confirms that the Uniden Solo+ camera has been successfully added to Google Home.

Step 10: Test Camera with Google Assistant

Test the camera by asking Google Assistant to show the camera feed.
