Editing or Erasing a Stored Name, Phone
Number, Distinctive Ring and Speed Dial
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press phonebook.
To delete all phonebook locations, press the DELETE
soft key.
Delete All?
appears. Use volume up/down to
select
Yes
, and then press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
2) Use volume up/down or the number keypad to select desired phonebook entry
(see "Viewing the Phonebook" on page 45).
3) When you have found the desired phonebook entry,
press the EDIT soft key.
4) To edit the entry, use volume up/down to select
Edit?
.
To delete the entry, select
Delete?
. Then press the OK
soft key.
5) If you are deleting the entry, you will hear a confirmation tone, and
Deleted!
appears in the display.
If you are editing the entry, follow the steps 3 to 8 under "Phonebook (Storing
Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings, and Speed Dial)" on page 41 to
complete the editing operation.
