Handheld UHF-CB Transceiver
Your radio is powered by a specially designed Lithium Ion battery pack.
• Before operating the radio, charge the Lithium Ion battery pack for
4 hours without interruption in the drop-in charger.
The drop-in charger can charge the Lithium Ion battery pack attached to
the radio, in the front charging slot.
1. Place the radio, in the drop-in charger.
2. The red LED illuminates and stays ON, until fully charged.
• The charger won’t overcharge the battery packs.
3. The green LED illuminates and stays ON after charging is
completed.
• Do not transmit when the radio is charging; in the drop-in
charger or when connected to the DC adaptor!
• You can monitor incoming calls while the radio is in the drop-in
charger.
Charging the Battery Pack
For the initial battery charge, make sure the radio is off for

optimum charging.
