INSTALLATION
A. General Considerations
Determine where to mount the unit. Keep the following in mind:
a. Where to obtain the best transmitted and received signal strength for the
cellular radio. (If the installer does not have a very strong cellular signal
inhisarea,hemaywanttorstpowertheunitfromaportable12VDC
source, switch on S4 and move the unit to a location that gives him the
best signal strength.)
b. Proximity to the alarm panel and where to route the 4530’s relay output
that connects to an alarm panel input.
B. DIP Switch Settings
The 4530 has a four-position dipswitch. The dipswitches function as follows:
