The DF4 is a 2-wire intercom system featuring a 4.3-inch TFT monitor, designed for residential and commercial security applications. This system allows for communication with a door station, monitoring of the entrance, and control of door locks.

Function Description:

The DF4 monitor serves as the central interface for the intercom system. It includes a 4.3-inch TFT display for video feed from the door station and various touch keys for operation. Key functions include:

Talk/Monitor: Initiate or answer calls from the door station and monitor the entrance.
Unlock: Release door lock 1 or door lock 2.
Scroll Up/Down: Navigate through menus and addresses.
Mute: Mute the monitor's audio.
Divert: Divert calls to an app (requires additional accessories or specific door station).
Address Setup: Configure the monitor's address and designate it as a master or slave unit within the system.
Call Activation: Activate the monitor's address by pressing and holding the unlock key for 6 seconds until the LED flashes, or by receiving a call from a door station with a designed address.
Auto Call Back: After initial setup, the DF4 can simulate a call from the door station by pressing and holding the unlock key for 3 seconds until the LED flashes.
Ringtone Volume Adjustment: Two levels of ringtone volume (large and small) can be adjusted via the main menu.
Ringtone Melody Change: Three sets of ringtone melodies are selectable from the main menu. The DF4 will play the selected melody for door station calls, inner calls, and ring button presses separately.
Do Not Disturb (DND) Mode: Enable DND mode to prevent the monitor from ringing for any calls. A solid LED indicates DND is active.
Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the brightness of the image from the door station (2 levels).
Camera Switching: Switch between different door station cameras if multiple are connected.
Intercom/Inner Call: Initiate calls to other monitors within the system or to a guard unit.
Light Operation (DT-RLC/Mini RLC): Control external lights connected via DT-RLC/Mini RLC modules. The icon turns yellow when the light is on.

Maintenance Features:

Factory Reset: The monitor can be restored to factory default settings by disconnecting from the bus line, waiting 30 seconds, reconnecting, and then pressing and holding the unlock key for 12 seconds within 10 seconds of power-up. This resets all settings except the address.
Cleaning: Use a soft cotton cloth for cleaning. Avoid organic impregnants or chemical cleaning agents. A little pure water or diluted soap water can be used for dust.
Environmental Precautions:
- Protect from violent vibration, impacts, knocks, and drops.
- Avoid mounting too close to magnetic fields (e.g., microwaves, TVs, computers) to prevent image distortion.
- Keep away from wet conditions, high temperatures, dust, caustic substances, and oxidation gases to prevent damage.
Power Adapter: Only use the correct adapter supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
Professional Service: Due to high voltage inside the products, refer service only to a trained and qualified professional.

Limitations:

The DF4 monitor does not support DT-IPG.
RLC light mode requires an update to RLC to support.
DF4 monitors do not support in-out connection.
The "Divert to APP" function is a reserve function and requires additional accessories or a specific door station to enable; it does not work with 2easy standard door stations.
Limit support on DT-RLC (with only DT607/608/821, DMR18S).
