Setup
1. Unpack the Versacount II+
Unpack the Versacount II+ from its shipping crate and place the machine onto a level and stable
surface. The crate should contain:
• Versacount II+ Base
• Reel arms (2)
• Reel arm couplers (2)
• SMD counting kit
• Empty Pocket Detector Module (optional)
• Axial/radial counting kit (optional)
• Footswitch (optional)
• AC power cord
• Hardware
• Versacount II+ User’s Guide
2. Assemble the Versacount II+
Attach the left and right reel arms to the central
reel arm using the reel arm couplers and the
provided hardware (Figure 1-7).
Attach the reel coupler to the central reel arm
with three screws. Then, holding the reel arm
flush with the coupler, attach it with another
three screws.
Repeat for the second reel arm.
