6. Unscrew and remove t he adjusting nuts.
7. Before removing the differential bearing caps, mark their
positions to make refitting easier.
8. Unscrew the bearing cap bolt s (C) and remove the caps.
9. Remove the differential unit together with its bearings
and remove oil distributor sleeve, o---ring and the intermedi-
ate ring.
10. Remove the differential bearings, when necessary.
C. Removing bevel pinion shaft:
11. Remove the cassette seal by pr ising it out (note that the
seal is damaged when it is removed).
