Maintenance Features

  • Pre-Motor Filter: Washable filter that can be removed by twisting the canister lid, lifting it off, and pulling out the filter from the canister base. It should be washed with warm tap water (no hotter than 40°C) and allowed to dry for 24 hours before re-installation.
  • Post-Motor Filter: This filter is not washable. It can be accessed by pressing the release clip on the filter cap, separating it from the holder, and tapping it over a bin to clean.
  • Brushbar Maintenance: The brushbar can be accessed by removing the brushbar access clips to cut through any threads or hairs caught around it. A brushbar reset button is available to clear blockages, indicated by a red flashing light.
  • Turbo Tool Maintenance (VARU1200 only): Blockages in the turbo tool can be removed by pressing two side buttons, pulling it apart, carefully cutting out the blockage with scissors, and then realigning and pressing the sides back together.
  • Blockage Removal: Users are advised to switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before removing any blockages from the inlet, hose, or tube.
