5.2.7 REC Setting
All the Recording-related settings can be made on this interface,
z Auto On For REC
Activate or deactivate the Timer function on this interface.
z Interval
Length of Recording can be set on this interface.
z HDD
VD
i-S is equipped with an internal HDD for recording storage and is the
default storage driver. There are two USB terminals for external HDD. If you want
to record programmes on an external HDD, please select the related storage
device in the REC Setting
z Mode
You can choose the Recording Mode according to your needs.
z Format
You can choose the Recording Format according to your needs.
z Auto Off After REC
If Auto Standby is switched on, VD
i-S will automatically turn to stand-by
after a recording has been made.
z REC Key Management
The REC button can either be set as a shortcut to Instant Recording or
Recording Manager. If it is a shortcut to Instant Recording, Recording starts
immediately when it is pressed. And if it is a shortcut to REC Management, the
Recording settings can be modified once it is pressed.
