1. Summary
VECTECH498A Charged plate Monitor (CPM) measures the voltage potential on its integrated plate-electrode
according the Fieldmill-influence-principal and it is suitable to measure the static delay time of air ionizer
equipment. The unit meets the requirements of the American standard ESD-STM 3.1-2000. VECTECH498A is
menu-driven and it is easy to operation by four switches. All parameters will be shown in the LCD-display for a
better orientation of the operation. It is a special device for testing the capability of the electrostatic eliminator.
