8.4.4. Sealing cable accesses
The pfu has pre-punched holes for the medium-voltage,
low-voltage and external earthing cable accesses.
According to the needs of each case, use a hammer to make
the necessary holes in the most convenient location.
Once the connections have been made, the feedthrough
holes should be sealed using a polyurethane sealant in
order to guarantee the appropriate water tightness.
For a good nish, it is recommended to ll with sand up to
level +360 mm and cover this ller with a 1000 mm wide
pavement, between 50 and 100 mm below the access door.
