Life Mode
Life Mode helps you live in the moment and
minimize digital distraction
Palm was designed to help you be connected, but present. Life
Mode helps you live in the moment but keeps your digital life
available when you need it.
When Life Mode is enabled, you will not be bothered with calls
and texts as long as the screen is off. Catch up on your
notifications just by waking the screen. By default, texts and
calendar reminders will be pushed when you wake your device.
You can choose additional apps to be pushed in Life Mode’s
advanced options menu.
Enable/Disable Life Mode
1. Swipe down from the top of the display to view quick
settings.
2. Tap Life Mode to toggle On/Off.
Life Mode timer
The Life Mode timer allows you to temporarily suspend Life
Mode to maximize your device performance when you need it
most.
Expecting a text or phone call? You can disable Life Mode for a
designated time as you wait. Life Mode will automatically
resume when the time is up.
When a Life Mode timer is in progress, a notification will
appear that shares time remaining before Life Mode resumes.
Advanced options
You can enable additional apps to push notifications when you
Palm wakes. To do this, go to Settings > Life Mode > Advanced
Options. Select apps on the list to allow notifications when
your device wakes.
Battery Impact
Life Mode limits usage of antennas, which substantially
increases the battery life of your device.
