What to do if Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply shows Mains Failure?
    • A
      Allison GordonAug 19, 2025
If a mains failure occurs and doesn't last long, the battery will power the load. If the cause is unknown or the failure lasts too long, a diesel generator is needed. Before using generator power to supply the subrack power system, run the generator for at least five minutes to minimize the impact on the subrack power system.

What to do if Vertiv Power Supply shows DC Volt Low?
    • D
      Donna BaldwinAug 21, 2025
If you see a DC Volt Low alarm, first check if it's due to a mains failure. If so, disconnect some loads to extend the system's operation. Also, check the DC under-voltage value in the controller and correct it if it's set inappropriately. Check for any inoperative rectifiers or ones with no output current and replace them if needed. Finally, ensure the total rectifier current is greater than 120% of the total load current (with one redundant rectifier) by disconnecting loads or adding rectifiers.

Why Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Rect Protect alarm is on?
    • C
      Connie WebbAug 23, 2025
The Rect Protect alarm indicates that the mains voltage is either above 305V or below 80V. If the mains voltage is outside of these values, the mains grid should be improved.

    Sara CollinsAug 26, 2025
What to do if Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 shows DC Volt High?
    • C
      Charles WilsonAug 26, 2025
If you're seeing a DC Volt High alarm, first check the DC over-voltage value through the controller and correct it if it's set wrong. If the setting is correct, identify the faulty rectifier by ensuring the batteries operate normally, switching off AC input to all rectifiers, then powering them on one by one. The rectifier that triggers the over-voltage protection is the faulty one and should be replaced.

What to do if Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply Rect Failure?
    • K
      kayleejohnsonAug 28, 2025
If the fault indicator (red) is on, the rectifier is faulty. Power it off, then power it back on after a short time. If the alarm continues, replace the rectifier.

How to fix Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply AC Voltage High?
    • S
      Samantha ShawAug 30, 2025
Check if the AC over-voltage value is too low and adjust it if necessary. While a mild over-voltage won't affect the system, rectifiers will stop working if the mains voltage exceeds 305V. If the mains voltage is above the AC over-voltage value, the mains grid should be improved.
  • K
    Kim YoungSep 1, 2025
How to fix Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 AC Voltage Low?
    • B
      bakerianSep 1, 2025
Check if the AC under-voltage point is too high and adjust it if necessary. When the mains voltage is lower than 176V, the output power of the rectifiers will be derated, and if it's lower than 80V, the rectifiers will stop working. If the mains voltage is under the AC under-voltage value, the mains grid should be improved.

What does LVD2 mean on Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply?
    • K
      katherine20Sep 4, 2025
LVD2 indicates either a mains failure combined with a battery voltage lower than the 'LVD2' value, or that the battery has been manually disconnected from the system.

What to do if Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply Rect Not Respond?
    • L
      Lynn GreenSep 6, 2025
Check if the communication cable is properly connected between the rectifier and the controller. If it is, restart the rectifier. If the alarm persists, replace the rectifier.

What to do if Vertiv NetSure 731 A91 Power Supply shows Load Fuse Alarm or Batt Fuse Alarm?
    • A
      Anthony MiddletonSep 8, 2025
Check if the corresponding MCB is switched off. If it is open, find and remove the fault. If the MCB is not open, the alarm circuit is faulty. Please contact Vertiv.
