Overview

This document provides the operating manual for a VEVOR Distilled Water Machine, available in models YMK40107A and YMK40207A.

Function Description

The VEVOR Distilled Water Machine is designed to produce distilled water, and also offers functions for producing steam wine, pure dew, and essential oil. It utilizes an advanced silent fan and a two-disc super cooling technology for efficient steam cooling. The device features an electronic double screen display that shows the current real-time temperature and allows for adjustable temperature settings. It includes an on/off switch for convenient operation. A key safety feature is the anti-dry burning function, which automatically protects the unit and turns off the power once the water inside the main engine has dried. The machine is capable of rapid water production, yielding 4 liters of condensed water in approximately 3.5 hours.

The display screen offers three types of information: time display, current temperature display, and set temperature display.

Timing Function: The machine has a timing function with a maximum setting of 99 hours and 59 minutes, and a minimum setting of 1 minute. Users can set any time within this range. After setting, the machine will enter the working state after a 3-second pause, and the clock will begin a countdown. Once the time reaches 00:00, the machine stops working and enters standby mode. To set the time, press the "set" key. The minute digit will flash, allowing adjustment with the "+" and "-" keys. Pressing "set" again moves to the tens-minute digit, then to the hour digit, allowing similar adjustments. After setting, the machine will operate normally after a 3-second pause, and the clock will count down.

Temperature Control: The temperature can be set between a minimum of 30°C and a maximum of 108°C. When the machine reaches the set temperature, it enters a thermal insulation state, and the head is cooled normally. Both time and temperature can be controlled simultaneously. For example, if the time is set to 2 hours and 10 minutes (02:10) and the temperature to 83°C, the machine will enter an insulation state once it reaches 83°C, maintaining that temperature for the set duration. The temperature can be adjusted directly using the "+" and "-" keys. The machine will enter the heating state 3 seconds after the temperature setting is finalized.

Usage Features

Initial Setup and Operation:

  1. Unpack the machine, including the extension head and host machine. Remove the head and any inner parts from the tank. If using a glass bottle, assemble its handle securely.
  2. Fill the main engine tank with water up to the maximum scale level, ensuring not to exceed it.
  3. Place the machine head onto the main machine, verifying that the sealing ring is properly installed to prevent leaks.
  4. Connect the machine head's power plug to its socket, and then insert the power cord plug into the machine head's power socket.
  5. Confirm all plugs are correctly and firmly inserted, then plug the host power plug into a wall socket.
  6. Turn on the host's ON/OFF switch, then press the start button. The start button indicator will light up, the head fan will begin rotating, and the host will enter the heating state. (For first-time use, ensure the ON/OFF switch and indicator light are on.)
  7. After approximately 30 minutes of heating, distilled water will begin to drip from the outlet. The process continues until the inner tank is completely dry, at which point the automatic temperature control will activate, and the ON/OFF switch should be closed.

Continuous Production: The product can continuously produce condensed water. After the water in the tank is distilled, turn off the display ON/OFF switch, wait about 10 minutes, then turn on the nose component. Add water with the largest scale into the inner tank of the main machine and use it again following the ON/OFF operation on the display screen.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do not immerse the head and base in water or other liquids, or flush them with a faucet.
  • After the machine automatically shuts off due to dry burning, wait approximately 10 minutes before opening the machine head assembly to avoid steam burns.
  • Before connecting to power, confirm that the marked voltage matches the local voltage.
  • Do not attempt to repair damaged plugs, sockets, or the product without permission to prevent electrical hazards.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above under supervision and instruction regarding safe use and understanding of hazards. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years.
  • This product is not suitable for children or individuals with physical or mental disorders to prevent harm from incorrect use.
  • When handling head components or cleaning, first turn off the ON/OFF switch and unplug both the head component and host power plugs.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning:

  • If the shell is soiled, wipe it with a soft cloth.
  • After each use, clean the residual fouling from the main engine tank with clean water. It is recommended to burn a cleaning reagent (citric acid) at least once a month.
  • For thorough cleaning, add 1.0L of water and 2 tablespoons of citric acid to the main engine tank (without covering the head component). Boil the water for about 30 minutes after powering on, then pour out the water and rinse the tank with clean water. Repeat if scale cannot be removed in one go.
  • When cleaning the interior, avoid using steel wire brushes or other hard articles that could scratch the inner tank, as scratches can lead to dirt accumulation.
  • If the outlet is plastic, it is recommended to replace it every 2 to 3 months.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

  • No distilled water dripping:
    1. Check if the host power supply and head power socket are properly plugged in.
    2. Ensure the start button is pressed (the red indicator light should be on).
    3. Verify there is water in the main engine tank.
  • Insufficient distilled water produced:
    1. Ensure the water in the main engine tank reaches the maximum water level mark.
    2. Check if the sealing ring of the head assembly is missing or poorly sealed; reinstall or replace it if necessary.
    3. Confirm there is water in the main engine tank.
    4. Ensure the water outlet nozzle of the machine head is properly installed; remove and reinstall if needed.
  • Head assembly shakes or water overflows during boiling:
    1. Do not exceed the maximum water level mark in the main engine tank.
    2. If the head assembly is not properly installed, remove it and place it back on the host, ensuring a proper fit.
    3. Check if the sealing ring of the head assembly is properly installed; remove and reinstall if needed.
    4. If the outlet nozzle is blocked by dirt, clean or replace it.

First-Time Use Cleaning: For the first use, add 1.0L of water and 2 tablespoons of citric acid to the main engine tank. Cover the head assembly, boil water for about 20 minutes, then pour out the water. Rinse the tank and distillation cover with clean water. The distilled water produced during this initial cleaning should not be consumed.
