OTDR module for T-BERD/MTS-2000/4000 V2
Laser Class 1
Wavelength lasers at 25°C, depending on the wavelengths available in the
module.
The wavelengths available for the source are the same as those available for the
OTDR module (see OTDR specifications desired)
Spectral bandwidth: 5 nm RMS typical (2.5 Ghz for the DWDM Module)
Stability: 0.3 dBm
± 0.05 dB @25°C over 8 hours after 20 minutes warm-up time. for MA2 and
MP2 Modules
± 0.1dB @25°C over 8 hours after 20 minutes warm-up time. for MA3
Modules.
Output level
- 3.5 dBm typical for continuous signal (CW); 0 dBm for the DWDM Module
modulated mean level: - 6.5 dBm typical; -3 dBm for the DWDM Module
Emission mode
Continuous signal (CW), not available for the 1650 nm wavelength on the MA3
and MP2 OTDR Module.
Signal including lambda information for the power meter (Autoλ).
Modulated signal to identify the fiber (at 270 Hz/330 Hz/1kH/2kHz).
Wavelengths activated one after the other (TwinTest mode; not available for
DWDM Module).

modules
Typical values, measured at 25°C unless specified.
This function is not available with SmartOTDR.
