3000 Series full base "4+1" audiophone incorporating an adjustable
electronic call tone, "door open" push button including a " door open" LED
and privacy button with privacy ON illumination LED.
For use on Sentry systems and "5+1" audio systems which incorporate
the "privacy of speech" feature.
Call tone adjustment: 3 level (low, medium and high) call tone switch.
Privacy button: 1 privacy button (timed).
Privacy adjustments: 1x 6 position internal jumper to set the privacy
duration time; 1x 2 position internal jumper to set the privacy
illumination LED (FL = ash or FX = ON constant).
Privacy indication: 1 privacy illumination LED (red).
Door open indication: 1 door open illumination LED (green).

Answering a Call

Pick Up Handset

To answer an incoming call, lift the handset from its cradle.

Start Conversation

A conversation can begin once the handset is lifted and connected.

End Call

Replace the handset on the cradle to terminate the call.

Opening the Door

Operate Door Lock

Press the lock button during a conversation to activate the door lock.

Door Open Indicator

The door open LED illuminates to show the door is unlocked.

Complete Door Operation

End the door lock operation by replacing the handset.

Call Tone Volume Adjustment

Set Low Volume

Move the volume switch to the lower position for minimum call tone volume.

Set Medium Volume

Move the volume switch to the middle position for medium call tone volume.

Set High Volume

Move the volume switch to the higher position for maximum call tone volume.

Operating the Privacy Button

Activate Privacy Mode

Press the privacy button to enable privacy mode, switching the phone OFF.

Privacy LED Status

The privacy LED illuminates to indicate privacy mode is active.

Exit Privacy Mode

Press the privacy button again to manually exit privacy mode and switch the phone ON.
