Function description
Heating circuit control
(cont.)
Supply temperature control
Differential temperature:
The differential temperature may be adjusted via coding
address 9F; factory default setting = 8 K.
The differential temperature is that value by which the
boiler water temperature should be at least higher than the
currently required supply temperature of the mixing valve
circuit.
A Max. boiler water temperature
B Slope = 1.8
C Boiler water temperature
(with a differential temperature = 8 K)
D Lower boiler water temperature
Upper control limit
Electronic maximum limit
Setting range: 10 to 127ºC / 50 to 261ºF
Changes via coding address C6.
Please note!
The electronic maximum limit is no replacement for the
underfloor heating system temperature limiter (strap-on).
Lower control range limit
Electronic minimum limit (only active in operation with
standard room temperature)
Setting range: 1 to 127ºC / 33 to 261ºF
Changes via Coding address C5.
Control sequence
Mixing valve circuit
The mixing valve actuator will not be selected within the
neutral zone (±1 K).
Supply temperature falls
(Setpoint value –1 K)
The mixing valve actuator receives the mixing valve open
signal.
The signal duration lengthens with an increasing control
differential.
The duration of pauses reduces with an increasing control
differential.
Supply temperature rises
(Setpoint value +1 K)
The mixing valve actuator receives the mixing valve close
signal.
The signal duration lengthens with an increasing control
differential.
The duration of pauses reduces with an increasing control
differential.
