7.1 General care instructions
For daily cleaning we recommend a soft, non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
Note
To clean the toilet seat, use a gentle soap solution and make sure that the seat and hinges
are not left damp.
Therefore, dry the toilet seat and hinges with a soft cloth.
Care instructions for persistent dirt
Thanks to the ViCleans easy-care surface, you can achieve optimal hygiene and fresh, clean surfaces without resorting
to aggressive detergents. If you wish to use a detergent, we recommend a standard all-purpose cleaner.
Caution!
Material damage from cleaning agents!
The seat and lid can be damaged by contact with cleaning agents.
When cleaning, make sure that the seat and lid remain up until the cleaning agent has been
rinsed away.
7.2 Cleaning and replacing the nozzle head
The nozzle head can be removed for thorough cleaning, and can also be replaced if necessary. You can find details of
this in the “Manually cleaning the nozzle head” section of the complete user manual, which is available to download
at: M.VILLEROY-BOCH.COM or via the QR code:
We generally recommend replacing the nozzle head every three years (spare part number: V99103R1 white).
7.3 Care tips for limescale
Evaporating water can lead to limescale deposits, especially on ceramic surfaces and the nozzle head. Therefore, clean
these at regular intervals.
We recommend using a soft, non-abrasive sponge or cloth and clean water for this.
Conventional descalers can be used to remove stubborn limescale from the nozzle head.
To do this, prepare a water bath containing descaler as per the manufacturer’s instructions, remove the nozzle head
and lay it in the bath. After the appropriate application time, clean the nozzle head, rinse thoroughly with water and
dry. Next, re-fit the nozzle head.
If the nozzle head can no longer be thoroughly cleaned or descaled, it should be replaced.
