Pull the cuff over the arm so that the tube lies over the top of the upper
arm, in the direction of the underarm. The blue mark on the cuff and the
inscription ARTERY should point towards the hand.
The bottom edge of the cuff must end 2–3cm above the elbow.
Pull on the cuff and fold down its ends.
Secure the end with the velcro fastening.
The cuff is in the right position on the arm:
− When there is room for one finger between the cuff and the arm,
− When it sits securely and does not slip.
