5.3. How do I use ETDRS mode?
1. Change the reading distance
➢ Press the « no mask » button until the required distance appears.
➢ Place the patient at the selected distance.
Note: the possible reading distances are 1,2 and 4 meters.
2. Confirm the reading of a letter
➢ Press "Yes" or the right arrow.
3. Confirm the reading of an entire line
➢ Press the down arrow.
4. Confirm the no-reading of a letter
➢ Press the No button or the left arrow
5. Change the distribution
There are 3 distributions: one for the right eye, one for the left eye and one for both eyes.
➢ Press the Change button.
5.4. How do I return to the previous test?
➢ Press the"Return to the Previous Test" button.
Note: use of this button is valid in terms of test type (e.g. letter, digit, Worth, etc.), but not in
terms of acuity, mask or background.
