8.3.5 PTC function
a. Open conditions: (If all the following conditions happen, the PTC heater will open)
¬ Running in heating mode(not including the defrosing mode)
¬ Compressor keeps running over 6 seconds.
¬ The PTC function is active.
¬ Indoor fan is on
¬ Indoor evaporator coil temperature T2 <47
¬ T1 <31℃
b. Close conditions: (If one of the following conditions happen, the PTC heater will close)
¬ Running not in heating mode.
¬ PTC function is inactive.
¬ Compressor running time is less than 6 seconds.
¬ Indoor fan is off
¬ Indoor evaporator coil temperature T2 > 52 for 3 minutes.
¬ T1 > 33 for 3 minutes.
¬ Running in defrosting mode.
Note: If AC did not run in heating mode before and change to heating mode now, the PTC function will
be active.In this condition, the PTC function will close if you press the “turbo” button one time on
remote controller.
