4. When the baery is fully charged, the red indicator light
will turn off. Disconnect the charger from the speaker
and the outlet. The speaker is ready for use.
Note: Overcharging could reduce the life of the baery. A
charged baery will lose its capacity if it is not used
on a regular basis.
Important!
Ensure that the baery is fully charged if the speaker is not
used for a long period of me. To avoid a complete
discharge of the baery, charge the speaker at least every
6 months.
Baery Notes
When the baery power is low, the speaker will beep
every 30 seconds.

Charging the Baery
The BS-KI48 Speaker has a built-in, rechargeable
lithium-polymer baery. To avoid damage, do not aempt to
remove the baery. The full performance of the baery is
achieved aer two or three charging-discharging cycles.
Charge the baery fully before first use.
1. Connect the USB cable to the speaker.
2. Connect to the correct outlet (wall, computer).
3. When the charger is connected to the speaker, the red
indicator light will turn on.
Note: Charging the baery fully may take up to 2 hours.

Increase the separaon between the equipment and
receiver.

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit
different from that to which the receiver is connected.

Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for help.

not place heavy objects on it.
Keep speaker away from humidity, water and other liquids.

First Time Use: Charging the Battery

The BS-KI48 Speaker has a built-in, rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the USB cable to the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a suitable power outlet (wall adapter or computer USB port).
  3. When charging, a red indicator light will turn on.
  4. Once fully charged, the red indicator light will turn off. Disconnect the charger.
  • Note: Full charging takes approximately 2 hours. Overcharging can reduce battery life. A charged battery will lose capacity if not used regularly.
  • Important: If the speaker is not used for extended periods, ensure the battery is fully charged. To prevent complete discharge, charge the speaker at least every 6 months.
  • Battery Notes: When the battery power is low, the speaker will beep every 30 seconds.

Pairing with Your Phone

  1. Place the speaker close to a Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone.
  2. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds until the indicator lights flash blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Viv speaker" from the list of found devices.
  5. If prompted, enter the PIN code "0000" and confirm.
  6. Upon successful pairing, the BS-KI48 will automatically connect to your phone before entering standby mode. The indicator will flicker blue.
  • Note: If pairing is not completed within 10 minutes, the speaker will turn off. If this occurs, repeat the pairing steps.

General Operation

  • Turning ON: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds. If previously paired, the speaker will automatically connect to your mobile device.
  • Turning OFF: Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds.
  • Note: The speaker will automatically turn off if not connected to a mobile device for approximately 10 minutes.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause music playback.

Using the Phone Function

  • Last Number Re-dial: Press the ANSWER button twice.
  • Answering a Call: Short press the ANSWER button when an incoming call rings.
  • Rejecting an Incoming Call: Press and hold the ANSWER button for 2 seconds.
  • Ending a Call: Short press the ANSWER button.

Siri/Google Assistant

  • Activation: Quickly tap the button twice to activate Siri or Google Assistant on your connected device.

Wired External Audio Input

  • The speaker includes a 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable, allowing you to connect audio devices directly via the AUX In port.

Vivitar One Year Warranty

  • Coverage: This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is non-transferable. It covers products that fail to function properly under normal usage due to defects in material or workmanship. The product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for one year.
  • Exclusions: Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship, or from other than normal use, including repairs by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification, or accident, are not covered.

Proof of purchase (bill of sale or receipted invoice) evidencing the product is within the warranty period MUST be presented. Items not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.
