  If your Vizio LCD TV has no power and the VIZIO logo is off, ensure your AC power cable is securely connected to the back of the television and the wall outlet. Plug another electrical device into the outlet to ensure it's working correctly. Try another electrical outlet in your home, preferably on a different circuit. You can also try another AC power cable; any standard 3-prong, grounded, UL-approved computer power cable can provide power to your television.

  If your Vizio LCD TV has poor image quality, remember that Standard Definition images will always be noticeably inferior to HD Quality content. Press INFO to see the current resolution. Check the video settings of your external device and reset picture settings to default in the Picture Menu. If you're using an antenna, the signal strength may be low, so ensure it's connected securely and move it to a better location. Check the video/device cable integrity and try another cable. Perform a power cycle by removing the AC power cable for 30 seconds and then reinserting it.

  If your Vizio LCD TV displays wrong or abnormal colors/patterns, check the color and tint settings in the Picture Menu. Reset the Picture settings to default. Check the video settings and compatibility of external devices, and ensure their video cables are securely connected at both ends. Try another device on the same input. If using an antenna, ensure it is securely connected and reposition it to improve signal strength. Perform a power cycle by removing the AC power cable for 30 seconds and then reinserting it.
