The hand-operated thermometer DT-300 is not a toy for
children. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Be careful when handling the plunge feeler. Its tip might
cause hazardous injuries. Upon termination of measure-
ments and prior to storing the instrument, place the pro-
tective cap on the plunge feeler.
In order that accuracy in measuring temperatures be
not impaired you should take care that additional ther-
mal sources such as solar radiation, stoves or all other
thermal sources remain at a safe distance from the
plunge feeler.
In commercial and industrial facilities, the regulations
for the prevention of accidents as laid down by the pro-
fessional trade association for electrical equipment and
instruments need to be observed.
Hand-operated thermometers used at schools and trai-
ning facilities should not be handled unless supervised
by teaching personnel.
