IR-280 Infrared Thermometer
Item No. 10 09 10
INTENDED USE1.
The device serves for non-contact temperature measurement. It determines the temperature by the amount of
infrared energy emitted by the object and its emissivity. It is especially useful for temperature measurement of
hot, hard to reach or moving targets.
The thermometer measures the surface temperature of an object. It cannot measure through transparent
surfaces such as glass and plastic. Its temperature measuring range is from -30ºC to 270ºC. It is powered by
two AAA batteries.
This product fulls European and national requirements related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
CE conformity has been veried and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited at
the manufacturer.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modication of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE). Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to
associated risks such as short-circuit, re, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly
and keep them for further reference.
