J41240 Fan Clutch Remover and Installer
1. Release tension on the bent tensioner and remove the serpen-
tine belt from the water pump pulley.
NOTICE! It is not necessary to remove the belt from the rest of
the other pulleys unless the belt is worn or deteriorat-
ed.
2. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley using the J41240
or suitable substitute.
3. Remove the water pump bolts.
4. Remove the water pump.
5. Remove and discard the water pump gaskets.
Inspection The circulation pump is not a serviceable unit. Replace the circula-
tion pump if necessary.
