Repairing spark plug threads
Cylinder head must be removed fi r st . Tap ha le from
inside
to avoid damaging seat for spark plug.
Do not drill the hole. Use tap 9985823 · 5.
Re ·c ut old threads only. Do not cut further inta cylinder
block.
Spark plug bore must not be threaded along
entire length.
Screw in thread insert (PIN 948756-2).
