Working under raised loader arm
Always secure the loader arm with safety strut before beginning any work.

Spring cotter

Raise the loader arm to the upper position.
Disconnect the spring cotter.
Remove the pin and lower the safety strut in position over cylinder rod.
Fit the pin and connect the spring cotter.
Lower the loader arm until it rests on the safety strut.
