Install the included CR2 battery into the battery compartment, observing correct orientation.
Press the Measure button to power up the device and activate ranging modes.
Choose between Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) and Line of Sight (LOS) modes.
Select the display unit preference between yards and meters.
Avoid staring into the beam; use correct battery and do not disassemble the unit.
