Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the VOX Giulietta
VGA-3D Archtop Acoustic Electric Guitars.
To enjoy your VGA-3D to its fullest potential,
please read this manual carefully and use the
instrument only as directed. Keep this manual
for future reference.
Main Features
The VOX Giulietta VGA-3D is a medium scale
acoustic-electric guitar that’s easy to play.
This guitar features VOX’s unique AREOS-D
guitar modeling system to allow you to perform
sounds ranging from typical electric guitars to
acoustic guitars of a variety of shapes, banjos,
sitars and guitar synthesizer sounds.

1. Three-way switch
Selects sounds or programs.
2. Volume knob
Adjusts the volume.
3. Tone knob
Adjusts the tone.
4. Guitar output jack
This is the guitar’s output jack (monaural). Con-
nect it to your guitar amp or other PA equipment.
TIP
If the power is turned off, the guitar output
jack will output the sound of the magnetic
pickups in the same way as a convention-
al electric guitar (passive mode). In this
case, the Volume knob and Tone knob will
work, and the three-way switch will switch
between Humbucker, Single Coil (Bright),
Single Coil 2 (Warm) pickups.
TIP
For the sounds in Groups A1 (Acoustic 1)–
SP (Special), we recommend that you use a
guitar amp set to clean settings, or connect
the guitar to a PA system or acoustic guitar
amp.

5. Power button and LED
Turns the power on/off. The LED is lit blue if the
power is on. To turn the power off, press and
hold this button.
6. Group selector
Selects the Group. Select a sound by using this
selector in conjunction with the three-way switch.
For details on the internal sounds, refer to “Table
of Groups and sounds.”
7. WRITE button and LED
You can save favorites in PROGRAM 1–3 and
4–6 of the U1 (User 1) and U2 (User 2) Groups.
The favorite sound, its tone and drive/reverb
settings, and effect on/off status are saved.
8. Display
The note name will display when the tuner is
active.
