Troubleshooting
The battery does not charge in the parent unit or the
parent unit battery does not accept charge.
Make sure the battery is installed in the parent unit battery compartment
correctly. The light on the parent unit should be on.
Completely remove and install the battery again, then charge for up to
11 hours.
If
light on the parent unit is not on, refer to The light on the
parent unit is off section below.
If the battery is completely depleted, it may take up to 30 minutes to
charge the parent unit before LOW BATTERY appears on the screen
(page 9).
Purchase a new battery. Refer to Parent unit battery on page 20.
The light on the parent unit is off.
Make sure the parent unit battery is installed and charged correctly
(page 7).
Make sure the power adapter and the parent unit are plugged in correctly
and securely.
Unplug the parent unit power adapter. Wait for 15 seconds before
plugging it back in. Allow up to one minute for the baby unit and parent
unit to reset.
My parent unit does not play any sound when there is
noise from the baby unit.
Make sure the parent unit speakerphone volume is not set to
81.7/'1(( (page 13).
Make sure the parent unit is turned on.
The parent unit may be too far away from the baby unit. Move the parent
unit closer to the baby unit (but not less than 3 feet).
If the parent unit is operated with battery alone, make sure there is
UWHſEKGPVEJCTIGQPVJGRCTGPVWPKVDCVVGT[%JCTIGVJGDCVVGT[KPVJG
parent unit for up to 11 hours.
Make sure the sound sensitivity level of the baby unit is not set to the
lowest level (page 13).
Make sure the sound alert on the parent unit is turned on (page 14).
Make sure the power adapters are plugged in properly (pages 5 and 6).
There may be signal onstructions between baby unit and parent unit
such as walls, ceilings and buildings. Try moving the baby unit to another
part of the room.
