LEAVING TRY ME MODE
For security reasons, when you rst use the diary, it is set to a sample
Try Me mode. You will need to activate normal play mode to be able to
save photos and diary entries.
1) Open the battery cover. Then, nd the Reset Button located next to
the word RESET.
2) Press the Unlock Button to turn on the diary.
3) Press the Reset Button after the VTech logo screen.
4) The screen will display the message, "Normal Mode." The cover will
then open and you can begin using the diary.
5) Once the cover is closed and the Unlock Button has been pressed,
you will be asked to setup the facial recognition function.

1) Creating a Diary Entry
Step 1: With the diary open, press the Diary
Button
Step 2: Use the Arrow Buttons to navigate
to the correct date for your entry and press the OK
Button .
Step 3: Use the Arrow Buttons and the OK Button to select a Mood,
Weather, and Special Icon.
Step 4: Type your diary entry. Use the Function Button
to add voice
memos or photos or to change the diary's background.
Step 5: Press the Save Button
to save your diary entry.
2) Take Photos and Videos
Step 1: Press the Swap Button
to switch into
camera mode. Press the button again to switch to
video, if necessary.
Step 2: Use the Star Button
to change
between front and rear cameras and among
shooting options.
Step 3: Press the Red Dot Button
to take a photo or video.
