Program Step Details:
Steps are considered completed in one of the following three ways:
1. The timer counts down to zero.
2. The Preheat option is set to On and the set temperature is reached
and stable. The Preheat option has priority over the timer value
and on/off option. If the “Preheat” option is “On” the time infor-
mation and option in the step are ignored and is displayed as 00:00
while the program step is running.
3. The Preheat option is set to “Off” and the Timer option is set to
“Off” and the temperature setting was changed, is reached, and sta-
ble.
Selecting A Program:
1. If a program was previously selected, the previously selected pro-
gram will automatically be initiated when the system is taken out
of “Standby” mode. If the system was not running one of the pro-
grams, the system will return to Standard mode when the system is
taken out of “Standby”.
2. To select a program place the system in “Standby” and press and
hold both the “Select Down” and Abort” buttons. While holding
both the “Select Down” and Abort” buttons, press and release the
“Standby” button.
a. Using the “Select Up” or “Select Down” buttons scroll
through all of the available modes (“Std” and all five avail-
able programs).
Note: If a program is used (programmed) the Time display will indicate
this with “USEd”, the Time display will be blank for “Std” and any pro-
grams that have not been programmed.
3. Press “Start” to select a program. Only programs that display
“Used” can be selected. Once a program is selected, that program
is used at power-up.
Running a program:
1. Prior to running a program, the operator can scroll through all
available steps of the program using the “Program Up” or “Program
Down” buttons
2. The “Program” display will show the program number (1-5) followed
by the step (-01 to -48).
3. The “Time” display will show the set time for the displayed program
step
4. The “Temperature display will toggle between the Actual
Temperature and the Set temperature. Note: When a program is run-
ning and waiting for the user to initiate the next step, the set tem-
perature of the last step is displayed. The next step temperature
(if different from the previous step) will not be used (or displayed)
for the Set Temperature until the program step has been initiated.
5. To run the selected program, from the displayed step, press the
“Start” button.
a. If the operator starts the program at a step where the tem-
perature is on, but is not a preheat step, the system will
show “hEAt” on the “Program” display until the system
reaches temperature and stabilizes. Once this process is
complete, the operator must then press the “Start” button
again to start the selected step.
6. To pause any program step press and release the “Pause” button. To
continue the program step press and release the “Pause” button.
When a program step is paused the:
a. Shaker will stop.
b. Time display will flash.
c. Temperature is maintained.
7. To stop (abort) any program step press and release the Abort” but-
ton. The system will go into Standby mode.
