OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Incubating/Cooling Shaker has been designed to heat/cool and shake
PCR plates in the standard or manual mode.
The temperature, speed and time functions work independently of one
another. The temperature and speed can be re-set without re-setting the
timer and the timer can be stopped and started without interrupting the
heating/cooling and shaking functions.
MODE SELECTION
This unit can run in three modes; Standard/Manual mode, User
Programmable mode, or a predefined Profile mode. The unit will power
up in whatever mode was last selected.
To change modes: With unit in Standby, hold Select Down Arrow (I) and
Abort (M) buttons, then press the Standby (A) button. Use the “Select”
button to display the desired mode. STD is the standard or manual mode
that allows the user to select settings for temperature, speed, and or
time. Pr1 is a predefined profile. Pr2, Pr3, Pr4, and Pr5 are 4 programs
available to be user defined. These programs must be defined and saved
prior to being avaiable as a selection. The time display will show “USEd”.
When the desired program is displayed, press the Start (H) button to
begin operation.

a. Plug the cord into a properly grounded, 3-pronged outlet. The standby
indicator light will illuminate, and a single audible beep will sound,
