Maintenance
Top off the engine oil
Too much or incorrect engine oil can cause engine damage! Therefore:
☞Do not add engine oil above the MAX mark of oil dipstick 77/A
☞Use only the specified engine oil
Use a suitable container to collect the engine oil as it drains and dispose of it in
an environmentally friendly manner!
Perform the starting aid as follows:
☞Clean the area around filler cap A with a clean lint-free cloth
☞Open filler cap A
☞Adding engine oil
☞Wait a moment until all the oil has run into the oil sump
☞Check the oil level
☞Add oil if necessary and check the oil level again
☞Close filler cap A
☞Completely remove all oil spills from the engine.
Drain engine oil
Perform the starting aid as follows:
☞Clean the area around oil filler cap B with a lint-free cloth
☞Place a sufficiently large container under the place where the oil is drained
☞Open filler cap B
☞Wait for a short while (appr. 3 minutes), until the oil has drained completely from the
sump
☞Close filler cap B
Use a suitable container to collect the engine oil as it drains and dispose of it in
an environmentally friendly manner!
