Replacing the filters
Exchange filter cartridge A as follows:
☞Stop the engine
☞Remove the key and carry it with you
☞Let the engine cool down
☞Switch off the vehicle
☞Remove dirt and dust from the air filter and the area around the air filter
☞Remove cover B
☞Carefully remove filter cartridge A with slightly turning movements
☞Ensure that all dirt (dust) inside cover B, including dust valve C, has been removed
☞Clean the parts with a clean lint-free cloth, do not use compressed air
☞Check the air filter cartridges for damage. DO NOT CLEAN the cartridges! Install only
intact and clean filters.
☞Insert the new filter cartridge A carefully
☞Ensure that all dirt (dust) inside cover B has been removed
☞Position cover B (ensure that it is properly seated)
Ensure that dust valve C shows downward as you install it!
Dispose of filter cartridge A in an environmentally friendly manner.
