4. Maintenance
4.1 Engine Maintenance
The chart below lists basic machine and engine maintenance. Refer to
the engine manufacturer’s Operator’s Manual for additional
information on engine maintenance.

Check the fuel level. •
Check the engine oil level. •
Inspect the air filter. Replace as

Check and tighten the external hard-

strainer.

Check and clean the spark plug. •
Check and adjust the valve clearance. •
Clean the fuel tank.* •
