How to fix Wayne EHASR-DC that stays on when no call for heat?
    • B
      Brandon DixonAug 18, 2025
If the Wayne Burner stays on when there is no call for heat, it could be due to a defective flow switch (check for proper operation and replace if necessary) or a defective fuel solenoid (replace the fuel solenoid).

What to do if Wayne EHASR-DC runs continuously without satisfying call for heat?
    • S
      Shawn DavisAug 28, 2025
If the Wayne Burner runs continuously without satisfying the call for heat, it may be caused by: * Improper fuel or water in the fuel: Drain the fuel tank and fill with proper fuel. * Reduced fuel pressure: Check the fuel pump pressure, ensure the fuel filter isn't clogged, and increase fuel pressure to the manufacturer's specifications. Replace the pump if needed. * Soot build-up on the heat exchanger: Clean the heat exchanger with soot remover. * Improper burner nozzle installed: Contact the equipment manufacturer for the correct nozzle size and replace it.

Why the Wayne EHASR-DC Burner motor will not run?
    • T
      tmillerAug 30, 2025
If the Wayne Burner motor will not run, it could be due to a faulty oil primary control (observe the burner sequence and check voltage to the motor, replacing the control if needed), a seized fuel pump (replace the fuel pump), a burner fan that is loose or misaligned (identify the fan part number, position the fan spacing, and tighten the set screw), a defective control switch (replace the switch), or a loose wire (check and replace or tighten the wiring).

What causes Wayne Burner to overheat?
    • D
      Deborah MartinezSep 1, 2025
If the Wayne Burner runs but the equipment is overheating, the cause might be fuel pump pressure being too high (readjust fuel pressure to the equipment manufacturer's specs), the oil primary control energizing the burner past the call for heat (identify the control model and replace it, wiring accordingly), a faulty fuel pump shut-off valve (replace the valve), a defective flow switch or thermostat (replace it), or an incorrect fuel nozzle size (contact the equipment manufacturer for the proper nozzle size and replace it).

What to do if Wayne EHASR-DC lights, but not stay lit during call for heat?
    • C
      Carl GrahamSep 4, 2025
If the Wayne Burner lights but doesn't stay lit during a call for heat, it may be due to the oil primary control going into nuisance lockout. To address this, remove power from the white command wire for 2 seconds on the Wayne 12Vdc oil primary control and observe the burner sequence of operations.
