Call Barging / Calling an Elevator Phone
Pick up the local handset or any of the phones connected to the REM terminal block (remote handset output).
Listen to the instruction prompt and choose what elevator cab you want to connect to.
The line outputs for the elevator cab phones are numbered. In order to call a specific elevator, dial X# (“X” being
the station output number the elevator phone line is connected to).

Description
Troubleshoot
Not able to call out
from the cab phone.
Check if the elevator phone is set to dial 288XX (primary) and 289XX (secondary)
Check unit mode and if the primary/secondary phone number are programmed on the LS-350-1
If the unit is set to dial a number with more the 10 digits. Make sure server ver. is 3.1 or higher
Check if the external phone line and the elevator phone lines are connected properly and showing
standard voltage levels [On-hook: ~48VDC / Off Hook: Below 10VDC]
Not able to call in to the
cab phone.
Make sure Function 13 is set to 1 on the MWP-150/302
Elevator phone calls
out but hangs up
immediately
Set function 29 to 0 on the MWP-302 (Line polarity)
Alarm output not
changing state / Alarm
trigger for no reason
Software update
Alarm not being
triggered upon external
line disconnection
Software update
Elevator alarm bank not
working
Make sure the elevators are assigned to an elevator bank under the BANK ALERT section
Make sure line monitoring is enabled on each active elevator phone
Function 12 must be set to 1 and Function 15 set to 400XX in all elevator phones
