Why doesn't my Weber Spirit SP-310 Grill burner light or has a low flame?
A burner that doesn't light or has a low flame could be due to a bent or kinked fuel hose. Straighten the fuel hose to resolve this. Also, check the Crossover® ignition system.
What to do if Weber Grill burners do not light?
To reset the excess flow safety device on your Weber Grill, turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve to OFF. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HI. Wait at least 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs to OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Turn the cylinder valve on slowly. Refer to “Lighting Instructions”. This issue may occur if the excess flow safety device, which is part of the barbecue to cylinder connection, has been activated.

The residue inside the lid of your Weber Grill is likely baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect. Clean the lid thoroughly.
Why does my Weber Grill have yellow flames and smell like gas?
If the burners on your Weber Grill are producing a yellow or orange flame accompanied by a gas smell, the spider/insect screens may be obstructed. Cleaning these screens, as described in the “Annual Maintenance” section, should resolve the issue.
