FILL ONE BAG: Pressing this button will cause the bagger to send a dump signal for a single bag,
receiving product from an interfaced weighing or filling machine. This allows the operator to test the
bagger with product.
CYCLE TIME: Displays the duration of the current production run.
SPEED: Displays the average number of bags per minute for the current production run.
VERTICAL SEAL: Pressing this button will activate the Vertical Sealing bar.
HORIZONTAL SEAL: Pressing this button will initiate the horizontal sealing cycle. The Horizontal Jaws
will close, followed by the Knife being activated, and the jaws reopening.
FILL ONE BAG: Pressing this button will cause the bagger to send a dump signal to receive product from
an interfaced weighing or filling machine and for a single bag to be made. This allows the operator to test
how well the bagger is moving product.
JOG FILM: Pressing this button will activate the Pull Belts and jog the film.
INTERFACE: Pressing this button will send a dump signal to an interfaced weighing or filling machine.
ENCODER: The Encoder tracks the position of the film running through the bagger. As the film runs down
the Forming Tube, the Encoder turns. The Encoder records its rotation as a series of pulses. The value
displayed is the amount of pulses the Encoder has recorded during this cycle. The cycles the Encoder
has recorded are displayed on the Auto screen. Pressing the Reset Button will reset this displayed value
to 0.
MAKE ONE BAG: Press this button to have the bagger make one bag and test the new settings.
CONTINUOUS EMPTY BAGS: Same function as “Make One Bag” button only the bagger will continue to
make bags until the button is pressed again.
INPUTS: Pressing this button will display the PLC Inputs screen which contains the addresses of the PLC
Inputs and indicates when each is active. Active PLC Inputs will light up.
HOME: This buttons displays the Home screen.
SHOW ALARMS: This buttons displays all active alarms.
An alarm will display if there is a malfunction with the bagger. The machine must be inspected and the
alarm reset before the operator can continue. The alarm must be manually reset in the H.M.I, except
when the E-Stop button is pressed.
MASTER RESET: This button resets all machine sequences. The same as turning the machine off, then
on again.
TEMPERATURE
Pressing the thermometer button will bring up the Temperature screen which displays the
temperature settings for the bagger’s Horizontal and Vertical Heating Elements.
