• SCR module ON / OFF control, phase
selected to minimise transformer inrush
current
• SCR module protection by output short
circuit detection.
Connections to the board are detailed in the
drawing below.
The circuit is factory adjusted to provide a
maximum feed roll speed of 160 rpm.
CP109-12 Control Board
The CP109-12 Control board provides the
following functions:
• Welding transformer ON / OFF control
• Wirefeed motor ON / OFF control
• Speed control of the wirefeed motor
• Braking of the wirefeed motor at end of
weld
• Spot-weld timer
• Interval timer
• Gas solenoid valve ON / OFF control
CAUTION: Mains voltage is present on this
control board whenever the power source
is energised.
